ill be getting the gamecube version... screw the wii until they offer it at a reasonable price (seeing as its just a beefed up gamecube) and it plays dvds i wont be buying it.
i didnt see where the got the $800 and $700 prices for the ps3 and 360 respectivly. other than that i agreed with most things they said aside from the fact that they rated the psp as high as they did it really should have gotten like a c+ i think. and the psp's stong point, homebrew, can also be had on the ds, infact its been had on the gba for some time and in many cases its easier, www.linker4u.com is a place to start.
i plan on selling my original copy and then buying the rerelease i think, once i can get it at less than $40 via some sale or something. One thing that is nice with this is unlike EA (who sucks big balls and destroys everything they absorb) is that it really is EXTRA content. they gave us a full game to begin with.
did i ever say MS wasnt? that still doesnt change the fact that sony is.... and MS still seems to be going pretty stong, sony however... not so much.
actually the 360 games are showing a graphical edge according to most things that i have read that arent paid for by sony, cod3 and gears to name 2. infact peaple from many 3rd party magazines have stated clearly that gears looks better than ANYTHING the ps3 has shown so far, also epic said that it cant be done on the ps3 and that they only used about 40% of the 360's total ability. so go suck on that for a bit. you're the biggest fanboy to post on this topic yet. unwilling to accept the fact...

sony has in the past "created" reporters/critics to say "XXXXX is really great! two thumbs up bla bla bla" they even got sued and lost over it here in the USA. So you cant really trust any of this garbage.

i wouldnt call those little nubs triggers, they are about as much triggers as the "L" & "R" buttons on my Game Boy SP. And as far as the FF games its an old tired ip, thats why the creator MOVED ON (and is now making some awsome games for the 360 i might add) just like every one else should.
the 360 is inferior to the ps3 in ways and the ps3 is inferior to the 360 in ways, neither has an edge, like 90% of 3rd party devs have stated such things over and over. so why you keep stating the the ps3 is the end all be all for technology is beyond me, cuz its not. i know it must be hard for the sony die hards to grasp the fact that they waited a whole year to play a system that is equal (not that being equal is saying that it isnt powerful) to its rival.
i would just like to say one thing... the ps3 will never be as good as the 360 for FPS games if only for one simple fact. the controller blows... not triggers no rumble = bad FPS, only thing that could fix it is if they let you plug a keyboard and mouse into the giant thing and use that for your games. other wise they should just stick to the next twenty versions of final fantasy and g@y crab killing games.
and as a second note does that mean since you give credit to sony for being first because it "revealed" something in 2005 that i can get credit for claiming that im making a system that does 1600p and 12xAA and has holographic storage and HDMI 52.7 and jerks off the dog. cuz i am, i can get the CGI to prove it.
the ps3 was nothing but vaporware until just recently so... yeah, and the 360 has been ABLE to do 1080p since day 1, it just needed to be enabled, so yeah 360 is doin 1080p first just like it did 1080i and 720p first... just like just about everything the ps3 says it is going to do, the xbox has done first, and in most cases has/will do better. the ps3 doesnt have any cards up its sleeves that the box cant match. the proof is in the games.
I am a huge nintendo fan, please dont get me wrong. i simply feel a little let down with the price point, if it played dvd's (movies) and was like $199 i could justify buying one to replace my dvd player on my other tv, (my x360 and other sytems are on my main 50" samsung dlp) but at $250 for what is basically a beefed up gamecube (please dont lie to yourself, miyamoto himself said so) with a fancy, and NOT long game session friendly remote, i am better off just buying more 360 stuff. pl...

i think its too expensive. i am a huge fan of nintendo, i have a nes, snes, n64, and ngc all hooked up to my tv along with my x360, but i wont be buying one of these for some time.... simply because $250 for a slightly beefed up ngc is way too much.
I dont think I will buy a Wii until one of two things happens, the price drops below $200 or it plays DVD's. On that same topic, is the jap Wii region free? cuz I'd just import one then... dont know who from though since sony fvcked lik-sang... god i hate sony.
what an idiot, MS said they would give all launch xboxes a 1 year warranty free, and even if he didnt have a waranty he could have taken it back to someplace like walmart and just said "i called ms and they said i should exchange this at the retailer"
If M$ starts banning people for this, no one really will be safe, even the Stealth mods, cuz each box has a serial number, M$ knows what drives are in each box based on thier s/n, if a box that has a drive that should be able to be read from is unreadable then that = ban.
i dont think its M$'s failure, or really that the marketplace has failed it more just some companies suck, like EA. There are good ones though like the oblivion stuff, i dont think anyone will tell you that oblivion feels lacking if you only buy the game and no addons found in the marketplace.
